The randomness of my thoughts By: yours truly (Cade Fleet)
My several comic strips are very simple, because I was trying to do the design element of simplicity. I believe that if you don’t like most of them, you’ll truly like at least one of them even if you don’t like the art style. I use many media such as pencils, a writing device also known as a pencil, the special tool used by students in educational facilities that are used for writing on paper and much more. This writing tool has a lot of uses, and if you couldn’t guess what it is, yes, it’s a pencil. I was truly inspired to make my art because I knew I could do it because I'm just that good. Kanye West was also an inspiration for me, after all he’s an artist himself. Now I'll stop being so arrogant, I had many inspirations to continue making art despite my lack of talent. One of my inspirations was a manga artist, his name is Yuki Sato. He inspired me with his amazing art and I encourage you to search him up. I chose simplicity because I knew I'd not only have enough time but I also know I get easily distracted, so it was easier for me to make it look the best it can.
I did have some trouble at first, because I was really bad at drawing in general, but I really improved throughout this project, I knew at the start I couldn’t even draw omni man who is a very simple character to draw, and in time I improved to the point where I could draw omni man with relative ease. Some challenges I had were drawing hands and faces. I knew I couldn’t get the correct spacing at first but with the help of my table group and friends I eventually overcame this inability to draw hands and faces. No, my art pieces do not have a message I wish to send, all I planned to do from the start was try and make comedic art. I believe that I eventually did faces well, I learned how to draw faces and hands better, oh and arms better, I learned a lot about my table group in the six weeks we had to work on this project.
